Our Services

At Reverie Mental Health, our services are designed to address the diverse and nuanced mental health challenges that can be part of the human experience.

How We Can Help

  • Psychiatry for Women / Perinatal Mental Health

Psychiatric care specifically for individuals with a uterus; those trying to conceive, experiencing infertility or pregnancy loss, those who are pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, and in the menopausal transition.

  • Holistic Psychiatry

Incorporates Lifestyle Medicine like sleep, nutrition, and exercise support with medication prescriptions, natural remedies (herbs and supplements), expanded lab testing, and pharmacogenomic testing (gene testing) as needed. Every appointment includes brief supportive psychotherapy.

  • Second Opinion Consultations

One-time evaluations for diagnostic clarity and treatment recommendations with a report that you can take back to your psychiatrist, psychiatric PA/NP, or primary care provider.

Inclusive Support

Reverie Mental Health specializes in treating PMADs (Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders) which include anxiety, depression, and OCD occurring during pregnancy or postpartum. RMH also treats stress, grief, low self-esteem, phobias, trauma, trouble adjusting to pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood, ADHD, and insomnia. We work with bipolar disorders in the perinatal phase and postpartum psychosis on a case-by-case basis.

While we do subspecialize in perinatal mental health support, we also serve a diverse patient population and provide holistic psychiatric care for adults in general. We commonly treat anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorders, and sleep problems, and support psychotic disorders on a case-by-case basis.

Given MacKenzie's history of working with military populations and in ERs, RMH has an intimate understanding of the mental health needs of military, veterans, first responders, and healthcare professionals.

Common Themes We See

Everyone's journey is unique, but there are some common themes we see frequently:

  • Many women MacKenzie sees are in the transition of wanting, growing, or caring for a baby or children.
  • Many men MacKenzie sees are experiencing problems with their identity, career trajectory, or family life.
  • Many patients at Reverie Mental Health are having trouble living in a way that aligns with their values or goals.
  • Nearly all individuals MacKenzie cares for are experiencing difficulty due to stress, worry or fear (anxiety), sadness (grief or depression), or sleep.

Much of MacKenzie's work with patients involves helping an individual develop a greater awareness of themselves and then start to slowly make adjustments to their life (ex. beliefs, thoughts, behaviors) so they feel more aligned with the life they want to be living. If this sounds like you or a little bit like what you're looking for, reach out today. We're here to help.

I walked in and immediately felt like you cared about me and what I was going through, not that I was just another person you had to see. You understood me and never judged me.
